Our Thunderbolt

In 1945, Nicholas Mastrangelo said; "In the creation and conception of the Thunderbolt, her designer exploited every known advantage of the knowledge gained by years of airplane design.

In that same exciting spirit, Equinox Giant Scale R/C made every attempt to maintain the scale aspects of its 1/4 Scale Version of Republic's P-47 Thunderbolt.  Although, based on a specific set of 3 views our kit can be adapted for a few other variants.  Questions? Contact Equinox Giant Scale R/C

Kits are available in three different fabrication stages. Our short kits use conventional "modeling" materials such as fiberglass, balsa and plywood.  The techniques employed are straightforward and easily accomplished by anyone with some previous model building experience.
