The Scale Flyers of
Minnesota are dedicated to scale modeling of
radio-controlled replicas of full-sized aircraft.
At our meetings (during the
winter months) we share documenting,
building, finishing, detailing and discussions of
flying techniques unique to scale modeling.
Our club members have
also gained the reputation of
designing and building some of the most unique
Scale & Giant Scale R/C
Model Aircraft in our hobby. This site captures that
unique knowledge and
presents it to you as a resource, reference and
enjoyment.
Our site's contributing members have years of
construction and design experience. They're active in prestigious
scale events such as Top Gun and Scale Masters, in addition to
being highlighted in many National R/C Aircraft Publications.

Equinox Giant Scale R/C has designed an
excellent 25% scale version of Republic's P-47D
Thunderbolt.
This builders kit offers fiberglass fuse, cowl, rudder
and belly-pan with a built-up wing and horizontal stab.
Their design carries the same exciting
spirit of its original designers as they made every attempt to maintain
many of the scale aspects of its
limited production 25%
scale version of Republic's P-47D Thunderbolt.
The kit is based on a specific set of
3 views but can be adapted for a few other variants.
The
